RIVERTON, Kan - Jamie Jo DeVries and Jacob David Chesnutt announce their engagement. Parents of the couple are Donald and Cheryl Patterson of Miami, Okla., Janet and Jeffery Carr of Riverton, Kan., and Marion and Lisa Chesnutt of Galena, Kan. Jamie is a 2006 graduate of Wyandotte High School and employed by Freeman Health System of Joplin Mo as a Nurse Technician. Jacob is a 2008 graduate of Riverton High School and is employed by NEO fabricating of Miami, OK as a Certified Welder.
The couple have planned a rustic Oct. 22, 2011, ceremony at the home of the parents of the bride in Miami, Okla., with a reception to follow at the Elks Lodge also in Miami. After the wedding the couple plans to live at their home in Riverton, Kan.
