AVAILABLE BY SEALED BID
City of Marshall offers various parcels of property for farm rental by sealed bids. Sealed bids will be opened Tuesday, October 4, 2011.
Land to be leased in separate tracts as described below.

Please submit sealed bids for farm rental to Marshall City Clerk, 344 W. Main Street, Marshall, Minnesota, 56258 before 10:00 A.M., Tuesday, October 4, 2011.
All sealed bids will be opened at 10:00 A.M., Tuesday, October 4, 2011. Thereafter, at 1:00 P.M. on Tuesday, October 4, 2011, the three high bidders for each parcel of property will then be allowed the opportunity verbally to raise their bids if they so desire. The high bidder for each parcel will then enter into a farm lease agreement, the terms of which shall include the following:
*Leases will be for a 3 year period of time for the 2012-2013-2014 farming seasons. All rent payments are due March 15 of each year. Each lease will require fall plowback provision.
*Land shall be available for farm inputs after this year's crops are removed.
*Property is presently owned by the City of Marshall.

Announcements made the day of bid opening take precedence over any printed materials.
Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
