MARSHALL - Kirsti Griffith and Isaac Bakker announce their engagement. Parents of the couple are Gregg and Rebecca Bakker of Washburn, Wis., Rob and Kristi Griffith of Renton, Wash., and Kevin and Amy Novak of Ortonville. Griffith is a graduate of Willamette High School in Eugene, Ore., and is a student at Northern State University in Aberdeen, S.D. Bakker is a graduate of RTR High School in Tyler and the University of Minnesota-Duluth, is a graduate student at SMSU in Marshall, and is employed at Turkey Valley Farms in Marshall. The couple plans an August 2012 wedding at Holy Redeemer Church in Marshall.
