Conro, Paradis
Myia Conro and Charles Paradis, both of Cook were married Aug. 13, 2011, at United Methodist Church in Aitkin. Parents of the couple are Bunny and Bo Wiersema of Ely and the late Catherine and Edward Paradis of Marshall. The bridesmaid was Myakela Conro. The best man was Larry Paradis of Marshall. The bride is a Bemidji State University graduate and is employed as a teacher. The groom spent four years in the U.S. Navy during Desert Storm and is presently employed as a boiler operator.
