Laleman interning at Daktronics

Tegan Laleman, the daughter of Doug and Nan Laleman of Cottonwood, is an intern at Daktronics, an electronic scoreboard manufacturer located in Brookings, S.D.

She graduated from South Dakota State University in May 2011 with a bachelor's degree in sociology with a specialization in human resources and a minor in Spanish and business.

Local student is a member of the choir at Bemidji State

Melissa Noerenberg of Garvin, soprano, and junior biology major, is a member of the Bemidji choir. The choir has represented the United States five times at The Europa Cantat, an international choir festival, and has performed in a number of other countries including Israel, Italy, Austria, Germany, the Czech Republic and Switzerland. The choir also has performed at numerous national and regional conventions across the United States.

The choir also produces Bemidji State University's madrigal dinners each December.

Membership to the choir is by audition. The choir is directed by Dr. P. Bradley Logan, a professor of music at Bemidji State University.

The following student completed her studies from The Art Institutes International Minnesota Sept. 24 - Granite Falls: Samantha Odegard, AS, graphic design.
