THE STATE OF MINNESOTA TO THE ABOVE?NAMED DEFENDANTS:
You are hereby summoned and required to serve upon Plaintiff's attorney an Answer to the Complaint which is on file in the office of the Court Administrator of the above-named Court, within twenty (20) days after service of this Summons upon you, exclusive of the day of service. If you fail to do so, judgment by default will be taken against you for the relief demanded in the Complaint.
Civil cases are subject to Alternative Dispute Resolution processes as provided in Rule 114 of the General Rules of Practice of the District Courts. Alternative Dispute Resolution includes mediation, arbitration, and other processes set forth in the rules. You may contact the Court Administrator for information about these processes and about resources available in your area.
This action involves, affects or brings in question real property situated in the County of Lyon, State of Minnesota, described as follows:
All that part of the three following described tracts:
1. The South Half of the Southwest Quarter of Section 9, Township 113 North, Range 40 West, Lyon County, Minnesota, lying west of the railway;
2. The West Half of the Northwest Quarter of Section 16, Township 113 North, Range 40 West, Lyon County, Minnesota, lying west of the railway;
3.The Northeast Quarter of the Northwest Quarter of Section 16, Township 113 North, Range 40 West, Lyon County, Minnesota, lying west of the railway;
which lies southeasterly and easterly of a line run parallel with and distant 75 feet southeasterly and easterly from the following described line:
Beginning at a point on the east and west quarter line of said Section 9, distant 1804.5 feet west of the east quarter corner thereof; thence run southwesterly at an angle of 55 degrees 55 minutes 00 seconds, with said east and west quarter line for a distance of 1888.1 feet; thence deflect to the right on a 1 degree 00 minute 00 second curve (delta angle 17 degrees 47 minutes 00 seconds) for a distance of 1778.3 feet; thence on tangent to said curve for a distance of 416.8 feet; thence deflect to the left on 5 degrees 00 minute 00 second curve (delta angle 62 degrees 45 minutes 00 seconds) for a distance of 1255 feet; thence on tangent to said curve for a distance of 600 feet and there terminating.
The object of this action is to obtain a judgment that Plaintiff is the owner in fee of the above-described property, and that Defendants have no estate or interest in the premises or lien thereon.
