Police seek information in Ampride theft

The Marshall Police Department is offering a $500.00 reward for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person(s) responsible for the robbery and theft from Ampride Cenex of Marshall.

At about 7:34 p.m. on Tuesday, the Marshall Police Department responded to a report that the Cenex Ampride located 1100 East Main Street had been robbed at knifepoint.

The suspect has been described as a Caucasian male, possibly mid- to late 20s, approximately 5 feet, 10 inches tall, medium build, bearded facial hair, wearing a tan Carhart-style jacket, ball cap, and jeans.

The male brandished a knife and demanded money from the clerks; the amount of money obtained by the suspect is not currently being released.

No one was injured during the incident.
