REDWOOD COUNTY - A fatal two-vehicle crash reported in Redwood County at 5:59 a.m. Tuesday is under investigation, the Redwood County Sheriff's Office said.
A 2002 Dodge driven by Brandon Eisenbarth, 21, of Morgan and a 2001 Ford driven by Dennis Zempel, 67, of Morgan collided on 300th Street, west of Saratoga Avenue in Redwood County. Both vehicles were destroyed, and Eisenbarth was killed in the crash, the Sheriff's Office said. Zempel was injured and taken to the hospital by ambulance, the Sheriff's Office said.
The Minnesota State Patrol, the Morgan Fire Department, Morgan Ambulance and North Ambulance all responded at the scene.
