MARSHALL - Officers talked with the subject of a suspicious incident reported at 4:03 a.m. Wednesday on the 100 block of West Main Street, Marshall Police said.

MARSHALL - A report was sent to the city attorney for consideration of theft charges on a Tyler man, 40, in an incident reported at 8:05 p.m. Tuesday, Marshall Police said.

MARSHALL - A black Lab with a pink collar taken to the animal impound in an animal complaint incident reported at 5:37 p.m. Tuesday on the 200 block of Stephen Avenue was later released to its owner after fees were paid, Marshall Police said.

MARSHALL - A grey, black and white kitten was taken to the animal impound in an animal complaint incident reported at 4:40 p.m. Tuesday on Tiger Drive, Marshall Police said.

MARSHALL - A wallet reported found at 3:48 p.m. Tuesday on the 600 block of West Main Street was returned to its owner, Marshall Police said.

BALATON - An incident described as all other was reported at 3:42 p.m. Tuesday on the 200 block of North Washington Avenue, Balaton Police said. No further information was available.

MARSHALL - A Marshall man, 57, was released to detox in an incident reported at 1:22 p.m. Tuesday on the 200 block of West Main Street, Marshall Police said.

BALATON - A violation of order for protection incident reported at 11:58 a.m. Tuesday on the 200 block of North Washington Avenue is under investigation, the Lyon County Sheriff's Department said.

MARSHALL - A purse and iPod were reported found at 9:56 a.m. Tuesday on the 100 block of South 4th Street, Marshall Police said.

MARSHALL - Police are trying to locate the owner of a purse reported found at 9:49 a.m. Tuesday on the 100 block of South 4th Street, Marshall Police said.

BALATON - A violation of order for protection incident was reported at 7:48 a.m. Tuesday on the 200 block of North Washington Avenue, Balaton Police said. No further information was available.

MINNEOTA - A welfare fraud incident was reported at 1:17 a.m. Tuesday, Southwest Health and Human Services said.

MARSHALL - A report is not yet in on a property damage accident reported at 5:39 p.m. Tuesday at the intersection of South Bruce Street and East College Drive, Marshall Police said.

MARSHALL - Drivers exchanged information in a property damage accident reported at 3:11 p.m. Tuesday at the intersection of East Southview Drive and East Main Street, Marshall Police said.
