MARSHALL - Mark Alan Zimmermann, 26, of Lamberton, appeared in Lyon County District Court Jan. 3 on two counts of first degree driving while impaired charges, driving after cancellation - inimical to public safety and open bottle charges. A complaint alleges Zimmermann drove while impaired on Dec. 8 in Marshall, and he has prior DWI convictions in 2005 and 2010. Zimmermann said he was trying to find an attorney, and a hearing was continued to Jan. 17.
MARSHALL - Mark Cecil Diamond, 59, of Marshall pleaded innocent in Lyon County District Court Jan. 3 to charges of second degree driving while impaired, seatbelt violation and possession of drug paraphernalia, court records said. A complaint alleges Diamond drove while impaired on April 17 in Marshall, and he has prior DWI convictions in 2003 and 2007. A pre-trial hearing was set for March 13, and a trial was set for March 21.
MARSHALL - Bryan Anthony Harden, 19, of Marshall appeared in Lyon County District Court Jan. 3 on charges of first degree criminal property damage. A complaint alleges Harden threw cement blocks at a car on Oct. 8 in Marshall, causing more than $3,000 in damage. A hearing was set for Jan. 17.
MARSHALL - David Michael Brown, 33, of Slayton pleaded innocent in Lyon County District Court Jan. 3 to charges of motor vehicle theft and third degree criminal property damage, court records said. A complaint alleges Brown stole a vehicle on Oct. 6 in Tracy, and caused more than $500 of damage to the vehicle. A pre-trial hearing was set for March 13, and a trial was set for March 22.
