BALATON - A Garvin man, 53, was arrested for fourth degree DWI and brought to the Law Enforcement Center in an incident reported at 10:12 a.m. Wednesday on the 1200 block of Lyon County Road 63, the Lyon County Sheriff's Department said.

MARSHALL - A Marshall resident was injured in a two-vehicle crash reported at 7:56 a.m. Wednesday at the intersection of Minnesota Highway 23 and Saratoga Street, Marshall Police said. A 2002 Chevrolet driven by Austin Kelm of Marshall and a 1989 Pontiac driven by a Marshall male, 18, both received moderate damage in the crash, Police said. Kelm was injured and taken to the hospital by ambulance, Police said.
