In non-conference play Saturday, No. 8-ranked Minneota held off a late charge by Lake Crystal-Wellcome Memorial to come away with a 71-70 victory in Minneota.
The Vikings (19-1 overall) got a double-double from Taylor Reiss, who finished with 19 points and 10 rebounds. Molly Hennen also grabbed 10 boards, and Emily Stienessen finished with 13 points, including a pair of three-pointers. Kelsey Hennen (12) and Katelyn Kack (11) also finished with double digits.
The Knights got a game-high 30 points from Tara Roelofs, who hit 10 field goals, finishing with 30 points. Karina Schroeder dropped 17 points, and Breanna Denn added 15 in the loss.
Minneota returns to Camden Conference play today, traveling to Ivanhoe to play Lincoln HI.

Lakeview's Emily Swenson finished with 16 points and 10 rebounds, lifting the Lakers to a 54-41 non-conference victory against Cedar Mountain/Comfrey Saturday in Cottonwood. Swenson also had three assists as Lakeview evens its record at 11-11.
Lyndsey Peterson nearly had a double-double with nine points and 13 boards, and Sarah Berg added nine points, three assists and three steals.
Leading the Cougars was Heidi Clement, who dropped 16 points. No other CM/C player finished in double digits.
Today, the Lakers stay at home, hosting Dawson-Boyd in Camden Conference play.
