In their final competitive tune-up prior to the Section 3A Tournament, the Marshall Tigers traveled to Redwood Falls for a Southwest Conference dual gymnastics meet against the Redwood Valley Cardinals Thursday night.

Redwood Valley finished with a total score of 126.325, while Marshall registered a score of 106.525.

Stephanie St. Aubin was Marshall's only gymnast to place in an event, taking third in the floor exercise with a score of 7.95. St. Aubin also led the Tigers on the uneven bars (6.3) and the balance beam (6.55).

Meg Ellis and Nicole Deragisch shared for the team lead on the vault, each turning in a score of 8.15 for the Tigers.

"We started out pretty well on the bars and nearly had our season-high score on the vault," Marshall head coach Lindsay Wolff said. "We were a bit shaky on the floor and kind of lost it on the beam, but we are going to use this as part of our gameplan in getting ready for the section tournament.

"Our girls know what they need to improve on, and we are going to keep working hard to try and improve our scores," Wolff added. "I'm so proud of the entire team for stepping up at such a young age. It has been a lot of fun to coach this group and to watch them make strides all season."

Marshall will travel to Worthington on Saturday, Feb. 18 for the Section 3A Tournament.
