Moen included on Riverland president's list for 2011 fall semester

Riverland Community College announced the students whose academic achievement placed them on the 2011 fall president's and dean's lists. Riverland congratulates these individuals for their outstanding academic accomplishments.

To be eligible for the president's list students must have completed 12 credits per semester with letter grades and have earned a grade point average of 4.00 on a 4.00 scale.

MSU, Mankato announces honors lists

The academic high honor and honor lists (dean's lists) for the past fall semester at Minnesota State University, Mankato have been announced.

Among the more than 15,640 students, a total 803 students qualified for the high honor list by achieving a 4.0 straight "A" average, while 2,382 students earned a 3.5 to 3.99 average to qualify for the honor list. To qualify for academic honors, undergraduate students must be enrolled for at least 12 credit hours in a semester.

Those students earning a 4.0 for the semester are noted by an asterisk.

Bofferding receives degree from BSU

Samuel Bofferding was one of 231 students who completed undergraduate degree requirements at Bemidji State University and graduated at the conclusion of the 2011 fall semester. Bofferding, from Marshall, received a bachelor of science degree in industrial technology.

Grengs included on Iowa Lakes dean's list

Iowa Lakes Community College has released the fall honors list of full-time students who have demonstrated academic excellence by earning a grade point average of 3.25 (based on a 4.00) or higher. The list includes Amber Grengs of Taunton.

The following area students have made the dean's list for the University of Minnesota Twin Cities campus 2011 fall semester.

Marshall students included on Winona State dean's list

The Winona State University dean's list for fall term 2011 has been announced. To be named to the dean's list, a student must be an undergraduate enrolled full-time (at least 12 credit hours for a grade) and achieve a minimum grade point average of 3.5.

Jesse Buss, Taylor Miller, Danica Louwagie, Christopher Pequin, Sandhya Manandhar, all of Marshall, were named to the dean's list.
