The Marshall boys hockey team has earned the No. 2 seed in the Section 3A tournament, and will open section play on Feb. 23 against No. 7-seed Fairmont at the Lyon County Ice Arena.
New Ulm was named the No. 1 seed and will receive a first-round bye in the tournament. On Feb. 23, No. 5 Windom will play at No. 4 Hutchinson, and No. 3 Luverne plays host to No. 6 Litchfield/Dassel-Cokato.
The section semifinals will take place on Feb. 25 at Gustavus Adolphus College in St. Peter. The 3A championship will take place on March 3 in St. Peter.
