Sales of Yost book to benefit Healing Waters Parish

A new book by former Cottonwood resident Dana Yost is now available in paperback and e-book forms, with Yost's portion of the proceeds being donated to Healing Waters Parish, a group of five rural Yellow Medicine County ELCA churches. The book, titled "The Faith We Live," is a collection of mostly previously published newspaper stories and columns, along with feature stories Yost has written for church and other publications. There are two new essays, a handful of poems and three devotions as well. The essays largely focus on how faith makes a difference in the lives of everyday people, often in everyday circumstances. Yost has authored two previously published books, and spent 29 years as an award-winning daily newspaper editor and writer at papers in the Midwest. The new 130-page book is available in paperback form through Amazon Books at www.amazon.com for $7.05 plus shipping. It is also available for Nook e-readers at $2.99 through Barnes and Noble at www.barnesandnoble.com
