The Marshall High School jazz dance team finished out of the top three in Class AA jazz competition at the state dance team tournament Friday night in Minneapolis.
Chaska took first place in AA, while Benilde St. Margaret's finished third.
Yellow Medicine East finished in third place in Class A jazz behind first-place Aitkin and Duluth Marshall.
The high kick competition will take place Saturday at Target Center, with Class A qualifying beginning at noon, and Class AA and AAA qualifying at 2:15 p.m. Class A finals will be at 5:45 p.m., and Class AA and AAA finals will begin at 7:15 p.m.
