Dawson-Boyd 64, Minneota 37

Dawson-Boyd junior Nathaniel Huot hit six shots from three-point range, finishing with 18 points as the Blackjacks cruised to a 64-37 win at Minneota on Monday.

Joey Lee and Zach Stelter each finished in double digits with 14 and 12 points, respectively, for Dawson-Boyd. Lee also had 10 assists and six steals.

With the victory, the Blackjacks finish the regular season 23-2 overall, 14-1 in the Camden Conference.

The Vikings (6-19 overall, 4-10 Camden) got a team-high 13 points from Grant Hennen. David Noyes added nine points in the loss.

At 7 p.m. Thursday, No. 8-seed Minneota hosts No. 9 Lakeview in the first round of the Section 3A-North playoffs. The winner will take on top-seeded Dawson-Boyd on Saturday in Montevideo.

Using a 13-0 run to end the first half, the Red Rock Central Falcons pulled away and claimed a 60-46 victory over the Westbrook-Walnut Grove Chargers in a Red Rock Conference high school boys' basketball game Monday night in Westbrook.

Jeff DeCock scored 22 points to lead RRC (8-9 Red Rock, 10-14 overall), while Daniel Maras (16), Dylan Bunting (10) and Henry Rogotzke (seven) combined for 33 points for the Falcons.

Taylor Lindaman poured in 30 points to spark WWG (3-14, 4-19). Jacob Comnick posted a 14-point, 10-rebound double-double, while Aaron Hass scored the other two points for the Chargers.

The teams will meet again Thursday night in the opening round of the Section 3A-South tournament. Tipoff is scheduled for 7 p.m. in Lamberton, as RRC is the No. 7 seed and WWG is the No. 10 seed.

Four players scored in double figures to lead MACCRAY to an 89-45 victory over Lakeview in a Camden Conference high school boys' basketball game Monday night in Clara City.

Taylor Thissen scored 19 points to lead MACCRAY (14-1 Camden, 20-6 overall), while Corey Abbas and Riley Aeikens each had 17 points. Brady Boike added 13 points.

Daniel Bakker led Lakeview (3-14, 5-19) with 14 points. Jamie Unke scored nine points, while Derek Larsen and Spencer Larsen each netted seven points for the Lakers.

Lakeview plays at Minneota in the opening round of the Section 3A-North tournament Thursday at 7 p.m.

Sparked by a huge 22-point, 20-rebound double-double from Dion Nelson, the Lincoln HI Rebels claimed a 78-45 victory over the ECHO Charter Rockets in a non-conference high school boys' basketball game Monday night in Ivanhoe.

Jeramie Blegen added 13 points and seven rebounds for Lincoln HI (10-11 overall), while Josh Bednarek also scored 13 points.

Colten Hunter (18), Jimmy Cunningham (11) and Shawn Peterson (10) each scored in double figures for ECHO Charter.

Lincoln HI hosts Russell-Tyler-Ruthton tonight in both teams' regular-season finale.
