Soup and a Sermon offered during Lent

Soup and Sermon will be offered every Wednesday during Lenten. Soup is served at 11:45 a.m. and the presentation of Lenten Message is at 12:05 p.m. in Holy Redeemer's Carlin Hall. These weekly events are sponsored by the Marshall Area Ministerial Association.

Wednesday's presenter is the Rev. Wes Johnson, Wesley United Methodist Church

Attendees may bring their own lunch if desired. Beverages are provided. A free-will offering will be accepted to defray costs.

Informational meeting March 11 at St. Mary's

An informational meeting on divorce, annulments and marriage validations in the Catholic Church will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, March 11, in St. Mary's Church Hall in Tracy. The Rev. John Berger, who has worked in the Marriage Tribunal for many years, will speak on these often misunderstood areas and answer your questions. If you or someone you know would benefit from this talk, please feel free to attend and share this opportunity with others. No charge, everyone is welcome - Catholic or not.

Fundraiser Monday at Pizza Ranch

Change Collegian Network-SMSU fundraiser at Pizza Ranch March 5.

CCNSMSU is a Christian Outreach at SMSU dedicated to helping Christian students grow in and share their faith. We are holding a fundraiser for our summer missions trip to New York City on March 5th from 5-8PM at Pizza Ranch in Marshall. Ten percent of the proceeds from that evening will go to send students on this trip. For more information, contact John at 507-530-1453 or Jake at 507-530-1677.

River of Life Alliance moves to 3rd Street

The River of Life Alliance Church is moving, and the community is invited to celebrate the new location. The Church is now located at 114a N. 3rd St. Marshall, formerly Van's Sound Room. The first service in our new location will be at 10:30 a.m. Sunday. The entire community is welcome to come, regardless of faith background.

Pancake fundraiser March 11 at Carlin Hall

The Camp Foley pancake breakfast, a fund-raiser for Holy Redeemer sixth-graders, will be from 8 a.m.-noon Sunday, March 11, at Carlin Hall, Holy Redeemer Church. The menu includes eggs, pancakes and sausages. The cost for adults is $7 and for kids ages 5-12, $4. Tickets may be purchased ahead of time from Holy Redeemer students or bought at the door.
