Raiders roll past Rabbits in 3A-South
Courtney Hulstein hit four three-pointers and scored a game-high 23 points to lift the Fulda girls basketball team to a 63-50 victory over Wabasso in a Section 3A-South semifinal game played Friday night in Worthington.
Brittney Hermeling added 13 points for the Raiders, and Rachel Cheadle had 10 points.
Wabasso's Chelsey Guetter had a double-double with 11 points and 12 rebounds. Ellen Franta and Kimberly Frank scored 12 and 11 points, respectively.
Fulda, the No. 1 seed in the South bracket, advances to play No. 2 seed Southwest Minnesota Christian at 8 p.m. Monday at Southwest Minnesota State University. Wabasso ends its season with a 22-5 record.

YME girls advance to 3AA-North final
Angie Scheffler had 22 points, nine rebounds and five assists on Friday to lead the Yellow Medicine East girls basketball team to a 59-44 victory over BOLD in a semifinal game of the Section 3AA-North tournament in Montevideo.
The Sting held a 30-16 lead at the half and out-rebounded BOLD 35-17 for the game.
Dani Aus added 11 points for YME, and Courtney Hinz had six points, seven assists, seven rebounds and four steals.
BOLD got 13 points from Baylie Kubesh in the losing effort.
YME, the No. 3 seed in the North, moves on to face No. 1 seed Lake Crystal-Wellcome Memorial in the sub-section final. The teams will take the court at 7 p.m. Monday in Redwood Falls.
