REDWOOD FALLS - Services for Sharon Hennen, 70, of Redwood Falls will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at St. Catherine's Catholic Church. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. today at the church, with a prayer service at 7:30 p.m. Visitation will continue one hour prior to services at the church on Thursday. Burial will be at a later date. Stephens Funeral Service - Redwood Valley Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
She died Monday, March 5, 2012, at Seasons Hospice following a battle with cancer.
She was born Oct. 7, 1941, in Redwood Falls, to Joe and Irene (Kodet) Ruhland.
Survivors include her husband, Darrell "Butch" of Redwood Falls; children, Scott of Waconia, John of Carver, Greg of Whitefish, Mont., Jim of Mankato, Lori Hacker of Morgan, and Melissa Murphy of Victoria; 14 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; siblings, Darrell Ruhland of Moose Lake, Dean Ruhland of New London, Joe Ruhland of Andover, Debbie Zupke of Olivia, Vicki Ruhland of Dassel, Mary Neubauer of Bird Island, and Ann Simmons of Hutchinson.
