WESTBROOK - Services for Doris Marie Vaupel, 94, of Westbrook will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Trinity Lutheran Church in Westbrook. Visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m. Monday at the Westbrook Funeral Home, and will continue one hour prior to services at the church on Tuesday. Burial is in the Westbrook Cemetery. Stephens Funeral Service - Westbrook Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
She died Thursday, March 8, 2012, at Sanford Medical Center in Sioux Falls, S.D.
She was born Feb. 23, 1918, on a farm near Sibley, Iowa, to Jacob Andrew and Susan Miranda (Coryell) Niffenegger.
Survivors include her children, David of Windom, Brian of Westbrook, Nancy Tjentland of Windom and Marilyn Kopperud of Westminster, Colo.; and numerous grandchildren.
