WABASSO - Services for Louis Plaetz, 91, of Wabasso will be at 11 a.m. today at St. Anne's Catholic Church in Wabasso. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
He died Monday, March 12, 2012, at his home.
He was born Feb. 9, 1921, to Carl and Caroline (Vogl) Plaetz in Redwood County, Granite Rock Township.
Survivors include his wife, Lucille; his children, Joyce Seitz of Lafayette, Carol Peterson of Rosemont, Marie of Wabasso, Leon of Wabasso, Nancy Tedros of Cape Coral, Fla., and Bruce of Wabasso; 19 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren and sisters, Hannah Storm of Winona, Margaret Brown of New Ulm and Delores Frericks of Wanda.
