The Camden Conference released its boys' basketball all-conference team on Friday, with 14 area athletes earning All-Camden honors.
In the Camden South, Russell-Tyler-Ruthton sophomore guard Brett Peterson was named the South's Most Valuable Player. Peterson led the area with 20.8 points per game in the regular season, and he also averaged 6.0 rebounds and 4.7 assists per game. RTR head coach Ted Kern was named the Camden South's Coach of the Year.
In the Camden North, the conference champion Dawson-Boyd Blackjacks had three players named to the All-Camden team - Nathaniel Huot, Joey Lee and Zach Stelter. Head coach Cory Larson was named the Camden North Coach of the Year. Dawson-Boyd reached the Section 3A finals, falling to Red Rock Conference champs Southwest Minnesota Christian on Thursday.
Gaining Camden MVP accolades was MACCRAY's Riley Aeikens, who averaged 17.6 points, 6.0 rebounds and 5.0 assists per game for the Wolverines.
