MARSHALL - Alyssa Rae Tome, 24, of Sioux Falls, S.D. appeared in Lyon County District Court March 3 on charges of wrongfully obtaining assistance. A complaint alleges Tome failed to report she was moving to Sioux Falls, resulting in an overpayment of benefits of more than $1,300. A hearing was set for April 3.

MARSHALL - Sandra Marie Myran, 50, of Marshall pleaded guilty in Lyon County District Court March 3 to charges of check forgery, court records said. Myran forged checks in Marshall on Jan. 23, court records said. Myran received a stay of imposition of sentence, and five years probation with conditions including serve 30 days in jail and pay $500 restitution.

MARSHALL - Eric Ricardo Leos, 21, of Marshall appeared in Lyon County District Court March 3 on charges of first degree criminal property damage, two counts of criminal vehicular injury and reckless driving. A complaint alleges Leos crashed a vehicle into a residence in Marshall on Jan. 7, causing more than $15,000 in damage and injuring two passengers in the vehicle. A hearing was set for April 3.

MARSHALL - Christopher Charles Kollar, 35, of Minneota appeared in Lyon County District Court March 3 on two counts of second degree driving while impaired charges, open bottle and expired driver's license charges. A complaint alleges Kollar drove with an alcohol level of .22 in Lyon County on Dec. 29, and had a prior DWI conviction in 2002. A hearing was set for April 3.

MARSHALL - Rogelio Diaz, 48, of Clarkfield appeared in Lyon County District court March 3 on charges of aggravated forgery and giving a false name and date of birth to a peace officer. A complaint alleges Diaz gave a false name to a peace officer during a theft investigation in Marshall on May 21. A hearing was set for April 17.

MARSHALL - Daniel Nathan Breyfogle, 26, homeless, appeared in Lyon County District Court March 3 on charges of fifth degree controlled substance crime, obstructing legal process, fleeing a peace officer, possession of a small amount of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia. A complaint alleges Breyfogle possessed methamphetamines and marijuana, and fought with and fled a peace officer in Marshall on Feb. 18. The court found probable cause for the charges, and a hearing was set for April 3.

MARSHALL - Jessica Dawn Ralls, 34, of Marshall appeared in Lyon County District Court March 3 on three counts of financial transaction card fraud. A complaint alleges Ralls used another person's credit card to make charges in Marshall between Feb. 16 and Feb. 29. A hearing was set for April 3.
