The Marshall/Lakeview youth wrestling program sent 35 wrestlers to Windom Saturday to compete at a Northland Youth Wrestling Association region tournament. Of those 35 wrestlers, 24 of them place in the top six to advance to this weekend's NYWA state tournaments in Rochester.
Wrestlers who placed in the top three at the region tournament will compete at the NYWA state tournament, and those who placed fourth through sixth qualified to compete at the NYWA invitational tournament.
The NYWA is one of Minnesota's premier youth wrestling tournaments. Over 1,500 wrestlers from kindergarten through eighth grade participate, with state champions crowned from 70 weight divisions.

Third Place: Zach Felcyn, Austin Lustfield, Nick Erbes, Garrett Maxwell.
Fourth Place: Noah Jensen, Ethan Maxwell.
Fifth Place: Joshua Kraft, Garrett Regnier, Grant Louwagie.
Sixth Place: Kenji Xiong, Spencer Wambeke, Lucas Hodges, Brendin Otto.
