The next Mustang Booster Club event will be the David and Carol Drown SMSU Golf Classic. The Golf Classic is an 18-hole, five-person scramble tournament being held on June 15 at the Marshall Golf Club, followed by the awards ceremony, a meal, live and silent auctions, and games lasting all evening.
The event will conclude the event with an 18-hole, five-person scramble tournament at the Tyler Golf Club on June 16 with an awards ceremony and social following the event. Please put these two events down on your calendar today.

How many head coaches has SMSU had in the history of the Mustang tennis program?

The SMSU baseball team (10-5 overall, 0-0 Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference) will open NSIC action this weekend with a four-game series at Upper Iowa University (7-10, 3-1) on Saturday and Sunday in Fayette, Iowa. Saturday's doubleheader begins at 1 p.m., with Sunday's twin bill beginning at noon.
The SMSU softball team (12-10, 3-3) lost a pair of games Wednesday to No. 23 Augustana in NSIC action, sweeping the Mustangs by scores of 3-2 and 5-3. Southwest will open its home season this weekend with four games at Mustang Field.
The Mustangs will take on Minnesota-Crookston on Saturday in a doubleheader starting at 1 p.m., followed by a two games versus Minnesota State-Moorhead on Sunday, also starting at 1 p.m.
The SMSU women's golf team's next competition will be in the NSIC Spring Women's Golf Tournament held on April 21-22 at Dakota Ridge Golf Club in Morton.
The SMSU tennis team (0-11, 0-6) will travel to Winona to participate in two NSIC duals and a non-conference match on Saturday and Sunday.
SMSU is scheduled to take on Minnesota-Duluth (5-6, 3-3) at noon before taking on Wisconsin-LaCrosse (14-2) at 5 p.m. on Saturday. The Mustangs will then play Winona State (10-2, 5-1) on Sunday at 9 a.m. All three matches will be played at the Winona Tennis Center in Winona.
