ACMC-Marshall welcomes new internist
Affiliated Community Medical Center welcomes it newest internal medicine physician, Min Hyung Kim, M.D.
Beginning in July, Kim will work with the full team of internal medicine specialists including Dr. Joe Willett, Dr. Tim Michals and Nurse Practitioner, Lorinda Peters.
Kim is married to ACMC's OB/GYN physician, Dr. Yong Seung Lee. She is currently completing her residency at Englewood Hospital in Englewood, N.J., and will relocate to the Marshall area to join her husband this summer with their two young daughters.
SW Minnesota Orthopedics, Sports Medicine, Inc. receive MRI accreditation
Southwest Minnesota Orthopedics and Sports Medicine, Inc., located in Marshall, has been granted a three-year term of accreditation in MRI in the areas of Musculoskeletal MRI and Neurological MRI by the Intersocietal Accreditation Commission.
Magnetic Resonance Imaging is a diagnostic imaging tool, performed by an estimated 28 million times annually in the United States, enabling interpreting physicians to visualize the structure and function of the body.
As it provides detailed images of the soft tissue of the body, magnetic resonance is especially helpful in diagnosing issues related to neurological, musculoskeletal and oncological conditions.
Accreditation by the IAC means that Southwest Minnesota Orthopedics and Sports Medicine, Inc. has undergone a thorough review of its operational and technical components by a panel of experts. The IAC grants accreditation only to those facilities that are found to be providing quality patient care, in compliance with national standards through a comprehensive application process including detailed case study review.
Free website building workshop set for April 16 in Marshall
Websites from Simple to Complex Seminar will be from 8-9:30 a.m. Monday April 16, at the MERIT Center, 1001 W. Erie Road in Marshall.
Starting a business website doesn't have to be an intimidating process. More than ever before, there are a variety of great options for business owners to explore. For some business people, the free and easy option is best. For others, there is a need to customize with a unique design and features. There are also many options in between.
In this hands-on workshop, participants will learn about the options available for creating a business website. These options will include the free and easy to use resources, moderately priced customizable websites, and more complex websites.
Participants learn tips related to working with web designers and programmers, understanding pricing, understanding costs. Participants will also explore websites created at all levels of complexity and determine the best options for their needs.
