The Marshall RC Club had a model airplane show Sunday at Market Street Mall, which included radio-controlled model airplanes from southwest Minnesota, southeast South Dakota and northwest Iowa. The event also included videos, flight simulators, an electric heli competition and a swap meet. Club president Vince LaPorte said the Marshall show is the "biggest mall show in the tri-state area." Arend Schuurman of Elkton, S.D., practices for the heli competition with his Blade MSR helicopter.
