WOOD LAKE - Services for Howard Benjamin Midboe, 57, of Wood Lake will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Assembly of God Church in Granite Falls. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the church on Saturday. Burial will be in the Hillcrest Cemetery in Granite Falls. The Sunset Funeral and Cremation Association of Echo and Wabasso is in charge of the arrangements.
He died Tuesday, April 17, 2012, at the Granite Falls Hospital.
He was born Sept. 27, 1954, to Morris and Alvina (Wigand) Midboe in Granite Falls, Yellow Medicine County. He enlisted in the United States Army and was stationed at Fort Dix in New Jersey. He was honorably discharged Oct. 28, 1979.
Survivors include his children, Wendy Kuehn of Echo, Daniel of Dawson, Shanda Barooah of Ledgewood, N.J., Brittny Vollmer of Ghent and Lance Jones of Cottonwood; sister, Louise Chehlaoui of Houston, Texas; and 10 grandchildren.
