Taylor Vollmer connected for a three-run triple in the fourth inning to help lift the Red Rock Central/Westbrook-Walnut Grove baseball team to a 5-1 victory over Lakeview Monday in Westbrook.
Vollmer also earned the win on the mound, pitching the fourth, fifth and sixth innings. Daniel Maras tossed the first three innings for RRC/WWG, and Colby Davis pitched in the final inning. The three pitchers combined for 11 strikeouts and just one walk.
Henry Rogotzke added a triple for the Falcons in the win.
Lakeview's Randy Louwagie threw a complete game, striking out 10 batters, allowing five hits and walking three batters. Offensively, the Lakers' Zack Doose and Cody St. Aubin each had two singles.
Lakeview returns to action Thursday with a home game against Kerkhoven-Murdock-Sunburg. RRC/WWG (6-2 overall) hosts Mountain Lake/Butterfield-Odin today in Lamberton.

Jonah Johnson threw a complete-game one-hitter as Kerkhoven-Murdock-Sunburg dispatched of Tracy-Milroy-Balaton 10-0 in five innings Monday in a Camden Conference game in Tracy.
Johnson struck out nine batters and didn't give up any walks in the win.
Parker Lanoue had TMB's only hit in the game.
Taylor Hoffbeck started the game for the Panthers. He gave up seven runs in four innings of work, striking out four batters. Austin Gleis pitched the fifth and final inning, giving up three runs.
The Panthers (0-2 Camden, 3-3 overall) return to action today with a game against Dawson-Boyd in Tracy.

Ryan Erickson and Sam Erickson combined to pitch a one-hitter as Murray County Central took down Edgerton/Southwest Minnesota Christian 9-0 Monday in Slayton.
Ryan Erickson gave up one hit and three walks in five innings of work. He had five strikeouts. Sam Erickson struck out six batters in the final two innings.
MCC scored its nine runs on just five hits. Nate Wieneke had a double for the Rebels.
The Rebels (3-1 overall) play a road game today against Southwestern United.

Chris Kaddatz and Cole Brusven each had three RBIs, pushing Canby to a Camden Conference road victory on Monday in a 14-1 decision against Dawson-Boyd in Dawson.
Michael Slaba added to the Lancers' offensive assault, going 3-for-3 at the plate.
For the Blackjacks, Esten Weber and Mike Bothun each went 2-for-3.
Canby (2-0 Camden, 3-1 overall) heads to Minneota/Lincoln HI on Thursday, while Dawson-Boyd travels to Tracy-Milroy-Balaton today.

Worthington's Angela Robinson was 3-for-4 with two home runs, a solo and a three-run homer, both in the third inning, pushing the Trojans over Murray County Central in a 12-10 non-conference softball game Monday in Slayton.
Robinson also got the win on the mound, striking out three in a complete game.
Jade Giese and Sophie Nepp each had two doubles, and Jade and Makenzie Giese had three hits for the Rebels (4-3 overall) in the loss. Carlie Ludolph added a triple for MCC, which hosts Southwestern United today in Slayton.

Montevideo boys take first place at Ortonville Invite
Montevideo posted a score of 311 to claim top honors at the 15-team Ortonville Boys Invitational golf tournament Monday at Ortonville Golf Course.
Montevideo's Mike Moritz was one of four golfers to shoot in the 70s, earning medalist honors with a 1-over round of 73.
Among Marshall-area teams, Dawson-Boyd finished third with a score of 334, Yellow Medicine East took fifth (348), Lincoln HI was eighth (405) Canby placed 11th (408) and Minneota finished 14th (427).
Dawson-Boyd freshman Easton Popma finished in fourth place with his round of 77, Blackjack eighth-grader Christian Thoen tied for ninth with an 82 and senior Ryan Sumner shot an 83.
Yellow Medicine East had three golfers shoot in the 80s, led by Jordan Zens' round of 82. Charles Blue added an 87 and Sam Jans shot an 89.
Lincoln HI's Jeramie Blegen and Minneota's Alec Engler each shot 94 to lead their respective teams, while Vasu Potla paced Canby with an 88.

RTR boys, Lakeview girls win in Cottonwood
As the only two complete teams at a golf invite at Cottonwood Country Club, the Russell-Tyler-Ruthton boys and Lakeview girls took top honors Monday in an event featuring golfers from three Camden Conference schools.
RTR's Hudson VanDrunen earned medalist honors with his round of 43. The Knights finished with a team score of 182. Ryan O'Toole added a 44 for the Knights, Hunter Burns shot a 46 and Derrick Whiting shot a 49.
Quinn Fenger shot Lakeview's low score with a 43, and Charlie Wittenberg led Renville County West with a 56.
The Lakeview girls posted a team score of 208, led by medalist Steph Werner's round of 46. Whitney Fischer added a 48 and Hailey Matthys shot a 52.
Hannah Kruger led RTR with a round of 47.
