Most Excellent Way at Grace Life marks 10 years

April is Alcohol Awareness Month and is a time when we will be celebrating 10 years of The Most Excellent Way ministry at Grace Life Church. Most Excellent Way has a meeting on Monday at 7 p.m. that reaches out to any who are hindered by their hurts, habits or hang-ups.

According to a United States government survey, it is estimated that 23 million people suffer from alcohol and drug addiction. Not only are those addicted negatively impacted but the lives of countless families are severely damaged as well. Unfortunately many do not access help until a major crisis affects them or their families or until it is too late and lives are lost or damaged physically, emotionally, and financially. Each day 32 people in the U.S. die in crashes that involve an alcohol-impaired driver. Besides the cost of damaged and lost lives are the related health care costs and the costs of the crimes and criminal justice related costs caused by the use of alcohol and drugs.

We at The Most Excellent Way believe there is a way of escape and that Way, Truth, and Life comes from experiencing the new way of living in the knowledge and power of a genuine personal relationship with Jesus Christ. John 8:31-32 "If you hold to my teaching, you are really my disciple. Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free."

Come join us this Sunday at 9:30 at Grace Life Church, 601 E. College Drive, Marshall, and hear how God is saving and transforming lives in our community. Plan to stay and join us for a picnic style lunch provided after the service.
