CANBY - Services for Ella Quenroe, 98, of Canby will be at 11 a.m. on Tuesday at Our Saviour's Lutheran Church in Canby. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. on Monday at Birk Funeral Home in Canby and will continue one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will be in St. Paul Lutheran Gardens, Norman Township, Yellow Medicine County.
She died Tuesday, April 24, 2012, at Sunrise Assisted Living Center in Boulder, Colo.
She was born March 24, 1914, in Canby, to Frederick C. and Cecelia A. (Rekward) Winter.
Survivors include a daughter, Lois Jones of Westcliffe, Colo.; son Elroy Quenroe of Boulder, Colo.; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and many nieces, and nephews.
