BELVIEW - Services for David "Butch" Jensen, 64, of Belview will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Rock Valle Lutheran Church, rural Echo. Visitation will be 5-7:30 p.m. today at the Redwood Valley Funeral Home in Redwood Falls, and will continue one hour prior to the service at church on Tuesday. Burial is in the Belview Cemetery. Stephens Funeral Service - Redwood Valley Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
He died Friday, May 4, 2012, at his home.
David "Butch" Raymond Jensen was born Oct. 15, 1947, in Marshall to Raymond and Marvel (Larsen) Jensen.
Dave enlisted in the United States Air Force in October 1966 and served until he was honorably discharged in October 1970. He then joined the Air Force Reserves and served until October 1972.
Survivors include his wife Gale; children: Kimberly Hagen of Wood Lake, Shane Jensen of Abingdon, Md., Kristin Jensen of Sioux Falls, S.D.; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; his brother Dennis Jensen of Echo; and sisters Vickie Welter of Shakopee, and Diana Connelly of Reno, Nev.
