Cody Sleiter of Cottonwood, a Lakeview High School senior and the son of Mark and Cathryn Sleiter, was recently presented the school's highest agricultural honor, the DeKalb Agricultural Accomplishment Award, sponsored by Monsanto Co.
Sleiter received the award for excellence in academics, leadership and agricultural work experience. His accomplishments include top salesperson in fruit sales, state degree, outstanding senior award, gold-rating chapter, star farmer, chapter proficiency entrepreneurship winner in cattle production.
Shelley Miller is Sleiter's agricultural education instructor at Lakeview.
