5 injured in weekend crash in Murray County

MURRAY COUNTY - Five people were injured in a two-vehicle broadside crash reported at 5:10 p.m. Sunday at the intersection of U.S. Highway 59 and Murray County Road 12 near Pete's Corner, the Minnesota State Patrol said. A 2010 Ford driven by Glenn Curtis, 98, of Slayton, was eastbound on County Road 12 when it collided with a northbound 1995 Chevrolet driven by Greg Crowe, 46, of Slayton, the State Patrol said. Curtis and Mary Curtis, 97, a passenger in the Ford, were treated and released for injuries. Three passengers in the Chevrolet - Corey Crowe 24, of Jackson, Tina Crowe, 23, of Worthington, and Karen Junemann, 69, of Slayton - were treated and released for injuries, the State Patrol said.
