VanLeeuwe awarded CDA scholarship
Kelli VanLeeuwe, the daughter of Dan and Joan VanLeeuwe of Marshall, has been awarded a $500 scholarship from the Catholic Daughters of the Americas Local Court St. Joan of Arc 1291. VanLeeuwe plans to attend Winona State and pursue a major in nursing.
Tykwinski selected to attend leadership seminar
Drew Tykwinski, a sophomore at Marshall High School, has been selected to attend the Minnesota MILE (Motivating and Inspiring Leadership and Excellence) leadership seminar - joining more than 100 young leaders across Minnesota.
The seminar will take place June 22-24 at St. John's University Collegeville. Students are chosen based on demonstrated potential for continued leadership growth.
