Playing in a doubleheader against Alexandria on Saturday, the Marshall VFW Orange team put together a pair of wins with a 10-8 win in eight innings, and an 8-0 victory in five.
At 4-3 overall, Marshall Orange is on the road today to take on Adrian.
In Game 1 Saturday, Nate Hoeft got the win on the mound, and went 2-for-4 with two runs scored. Jack Bock scored three runs, and Brad Bahlmann was 2-for-4 with an RBI and two doubles.
In the nightcap, Hoeft went 3-for-4 with two runs, and Bahlmann finished with two hits, including a triple, and two runs scored. Derek Rasmussen finished 2-for-4 with a run scored and an RBI for Marshall Orange.
