Led by Most Valuable Player Erin Hagland, the Kerkhoven-Murdock-Sunburg softball team had four players selected to the All-Camden Conference team, announced on Monday.
Joining Hagland for the Fighting Saints were senior Ellen Johnson and juniors Samantha Dunn and Courtney Olson. KMS went 25-1 this spring, taking fifth place in the Class A state tournament.
Tracy-Milroy-Balaton, Dawson-Boyd and MACCRAY each had three players named to the all-conference team.
The Panthers (15-6 overall, 9-5 overall) had juniors Alexis Buysse and Jenny Welu, and senior Kate Johnston named All-Camden. The Blackjacks (12-11, 6-8) followed with sophomores Justine Flattum, Sadie Zaiser, and senior Kaitlin Johnshoy.
Among other Marshall-area teams, Lakeview (14-8, 8-6) had a pair of players named all-conference with seniors Sarah Berg and Lyndsey Peterson, and Minneota/Canby/Lincoln HI (6-12, 5-9) had sophomore Ricki Kallhoff named All-Camden.
