REVERE - Services for Rodney Byers, 75, of rural Revere will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Jeffers Baptist Church. Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. Friday at the Walnut Grove Funeral Home and will continue one hour prior to the services at the church on Saturday. Burial is in North Hero Cemetery. Stephens Funeral Service - Walnut Grove Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
He died Tuesday, June 12, 2012, at his home.
He was born Feb. 24, 1937, in Slayton, to Adelbert and Frieda (Skjong) Byers.
Survivors include his wife, Joan; children, Brad of Vacaville, Calif., Bruce of rural Revere, and Eileen Helmer of rural Revere; 10 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; siblings, Don of Austin, Doralyn Foster of Willmar, Dene Byers of Milaca, Carol Kluver of Fairmont, and Marjorie Knudson of Northrup.
