Nate Dickhausen allowed just four hits and two walks in his complete game shutout win for the Marshall A's. Dickhausen also struck out 13 New Ulm batters Tuesday night. The A's offense scored seven runs on 15 hits to defeat New Ulm Kaiserhoff 7-0 in New Ulm.
The A's struck for one run in each of the first two innings. Marshall added three more runs in the fourth inning off consecutive singles from Tyler Flattum, Kyle Young and Cody Curry.
Young had two RBIs for the game. Jordon Kontz also had a RBI along with three hits for the A's. Andrew Larson and Taylor Rignell each added a double and an RBI for Marshall.
Marshall (10-4 overall) plays again at 7:30 p.m. tonight as it hosts the Willmar Rails at Legion Field for U.S. Bank Night.
