BRANDON, S.D. - Jon and Wendy Geistfeld of Rapid City, S.D. are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter Carrie Geistfeld, to Matthew Schaefers, son of John and Kim Schaefers of Alexandria, S.D. Geistfeld, a graduate of South Dakota State University, is a second grade teacher at Flandreau Elementary. Schaefers is a graduate of Hanson High School and works for J & D Masonry out of Alexandria, S.D. The couple plans an Aug. 18, 2012, wedding in Brandon, S.D.
