Wabasso All Fest opens today

June 22, 2012
Marshall Independent

The seventh annual Wabasso All Fest and 34th annual pork barbecue opens this weekend.

The festival is a project of the Wabasso Lions Club and all proceeds go to community projects, according to festival committee member Dean Fischer.

"All funds go back to community-wide projects," Fischer said. "The Lions Club supports school youth groups, the sports program, the Relay for Life and senior citizens programs. Pretty much anything local they come and ask for funding."

This year, the All Fest will feature NinjaSaur Slide, bounce houses, a medallion hunt and a raffle. The Wabasso Lions will host a beer garden. All events take place on the community center grounds.
