SLAYTON?- Services for Mildred Kruse, 88, of Slayton will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Christ Lutheran Church in Slayton. Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Sunday at the Totzke Funeral Home in Slayton and also one hour prior to the services at the church on Monday. Burial is at Trinity Lutheran Cemetery in Chandler.
She died Thursday, June 21, 2012, at Our House Hospice House in Slayton.
She was born March 11, 1924, on a farm in Lyon County, Iowa, to Edward and Lydia Thauwald Hausmann.
Survivors include eight children, Norman of Chandler, Leon of Slayton, Dennis of Grapevine, Texas, Eugene of Sioux Falls, S.D., Doyle of Mountain View, Mo., Twyla Carlson of Lake Wilson, Curtis of Eagan, and Betty Van Peursem of Chandler; 24 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter.
