Canby senior Stephen Huber was named to the Class A All-State team, the Minnesota State High School Baseball Coaches Association announced over the weekend.
Huber was the lone Camden Conference selection for the All-State team. An All-Conference pick, Huber hit for a .452 batting average and a .603 on-base percentage in the regular season. He also had team highs in doubles (five) and stolen bases (12), and was second on the team with 17 RBIs.
This season, the Lancers won the Camden Conference, going 15-3. After losing its first game of the season, Canby won its next 15 games, including a pair of wins in the Section 3A tournament. The Lancers eventually fell out of the section with consecutive losses to Windom and Springfield.
St. Agnes senior Charlie Turch was named the Class A Player of the Year.
In Class AA, Worthington's Lucas Henning was named All-State, and Holy Family Catholic's Kasey Ralston was named Class AA Player of the Year. Class AAA's Player of the Year was Rochester Century's Mitch Brown.
