MARSHALL - Victor Anthony Maffetone, 26, of Tracy appeared in Lyon County District Court June 26 on charges of third degree burglary. A complaint alleges Maffetone broke into a business and stole money in Tracy on May 26. A hearing was set for July 10. A motion to reduce Maffetone's bail was taken under advisement by the judge.

MARSHALL - Daniel Mark Weets, 44, of Russell pleaded guilty in Lyon County District court June 26 to charges of driving after cancellation - inimical to public safety, court records said. Weets drove with a canceled license in Marshall on May 14, court records said. Weets was sentenced to 180 days in jail with 160 days stayed, pay a $700 fine, and two years probation with conditions including serve 20 days in jail with credit for time served and good behavior, and do not drive unlawfully. Additional charges of failure to provide proof of insurance and violating a restricted driver's license were dismissed.

MARSHALL - Jeremy Jans Kor, 34, of Marshall pleaded innocent in Lyon County District Court June 26 to charges of third degree criminal property damage, court records said. A complaint alleges Kor caused about $900 of damage to a door in Cottonwood on March 16. A trial date was set for Aug. 3. A pretrial hearing was set for July 27.

MARSHALL - Jeremy Jans Kor, 34, of Marshall appeared in Lyon County District Court June 26 on charges of driving after cancellation - inimical to public safety. A complaint alleges Kor drove with a canceled license in Marshall on June 12. A hearing was set for July 10.

MARSHALL - Eric John Barck, 41, of Marshall appeared in Lyon County District Court June 26 on charges of second degree assault and terroristic threat charges. A complaint alleges Barck threatened a man with a knife in Marshall on June 15. A hearing was set for July 10. A request to reduce Barck's bail was denied.

MARSHALL - Chance Wesley Adams, 20, of Marshall appeared in Lyon County District Court June 26 on charges of second degree burglary and theft of a firearm - liability for crimes of another. A complaint alleges Adams or an accomplice stole a gun and other items from a residence in Cottonwood on Nov. 14. A hearing was set for July 10.

MARSHALL - Arlen Wayne Bonds, 30, of Morristown appeared in Lyon County District Court June 26 on charges of making terroristic threats, first degree criminal property damage, and obstructing legal process. A complaint alleges Bonds threatened a peace officer and caused $5,000 in property damage in Marshall on May 1. A hearing was set for July 24.

MARSHALL - Jesus Wilfredo Soto-Rodriguez, 23, of Marshall appeared in Lyon County District Court June 26 on charges of forgery, giving a false name and date of birth to a peace officer, and obstructing legal process. A complaint alleges Soto-Rodriguez gave a false I.D. card to a peace officer during a traffic stop in Marshall on June 8. A hearing was set for July 24.
