Project Z05: Tiger Park Stormwater Detention Pond Project

Notice is hereby given that the City Council of Marshall, Minnesota, will meet on Tuesday, July 10, 2012 at 5:30 P.M. in the Professional Development Room of the Marshall Middle School located at 401 South Saratoga Street, to consider the making of the following improvement:

Project Z05: Tiger Park Stormwater Detention Pond Project -- The project includes the expansion of the existing Marshall High School storm water pond, the construction of two new storm water ponds in the northeast and northwest portions of the intersection of East College Drive (TH 19) and TH 23, and related storm sewer work. The proposed work will provide storm water storage and storm water treatment prior to the outfall to Branch 10 of the Lyon County Ditch System. The estimated cost of the improvement is $1,574,000.

pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, Sections 429.011 to 429.111. The area proposed to be assessed for such improvement are those properties within, abutting and/or in the storm sewer watershed/drainage area of the above?described project area. A reasonable estimate of the impact of the assessment will be available at the hearing. Such persons as desire to be heard with reference to the proposed improvement will be heard at this meeting.
