TRACY?- Services for Leota C. Silver, 87, of Tracy will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Currie. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. today, with a rosary at 4 p.m. and a prayer service at 7 p.m., at the Almlie Funeral Home in Tracy and continuing one hour prior to the service at the church on Saturday. A luncheon will be served immediately following the service in the church social hall. Burial will be in the Calvary Cemetery in Tracy. The Almlie Funeral Home of Tracy is handling the arrangements.
She died Tuesday, July 3, 2012, at her home in Tracy.
She was born Jan. 29, 1925, to Valentine J. and Katherine (Potthoff) Ruppert on the family farm south of Currie, in Murray County.
Survivors include her three sons, Thomas of Glenwood, John of Tracy and Randy of Glenwood; three daughters, Cathy Johnsen of Pequot Lakes, Mary Jo McClellan of Fargo, N.D. and LuAnn Silver of Fulda; seven grandchildren; one sister, Marcella Cummisky of Currie; and one brother, Herbert Ruppert of Currie.
