Heard, Gillund
GHENT - Jamie Heard and Kurt Gillund announce their engagement. Parents of the couple are Jon and Kathy Heard of Balaton and Ken and Mary Jo Gillund of Minneota. Heard is a 2000 graduate of Marshall High School and a 2003 graduate of Southwest Minnesota State University with a bachelors degree in early childhood education. Gillund is a 1996 graduate of Minneota High School and a 1998 graduate of Minnesota West with a degree in soil and water conservation technology. The couple plans a July 20, 2012, wedding in Alexandria for immediate family and a celebration to follow in February 2013.
