WABASSO - Services for Susie Fischer, 75, of Wabasso will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at St. Anne's Catholic Church in Wabasso. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday at the church with a prayer service at 7 p.m. and a Christian Mothers Rosary service to follow and will continue one hour prior to services on Thursday. Burial is in St. Anne's Catholic Cemetery. Stephens Funeral Service - Redwood Valley Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
She died Sunday, July 15, 2012, surrounded by her family after a long battle with COPD.
She was born on April 22, 1937, in Wanda, to Louis and Laura (Berg) Ludewig.
Survivors include her husband Nick of 54 years; 11 children: Sheila Harris of Bloomington, Nick Jr. of Apple Valley, Pat of Chanhassen, Julie Howard of Brooklyn Center, Dan of Wabasso, Jill Fischer of Mankato, Mark of New Prague, Dean of Wabasso, Mike of Wabasso, Brian of Wabasso and Shelly Hegel of Chanhassen; 22 grandchildren; one great-grandchild on the way; sisters Louella Becker of Easton and Marilyn Gores of Bloomington, and many other relatives and friends.
